Terri Hereford was born July 7, 1955 in Binghamton, New York. Graduated from Seton High School in 1973. Married in 1974 to Jerry Simmons. Jerry died 6/17/1994 of a heart attack at age 45. Mother of 3 Children.- Stephanie 20, Mike 27, and Kate 32. Grandmother of three Elias10, Sarah 6, and Francheska 7 mos. Moved to Florida September 1994. Remarried in 2002 to Gene Hereford. Gene died of cancer 12/07/2005 at age 54. Gene and I had a business together for 5 years. I carried on the business and am a “phonemam” by trade. I do residential interior wiring and repair. Before this I was a legal secretary.

After Gene’s death I began to write. It was December 18, 2006 to be exact. The first poem I wrote was the one titled “Christmas Wisdom” I have never written anything in my life. I especially dislike poetry and am amazed that everything I write is given to me in that form. I have never spent more than 10 minutes writing any one of the poems. If I try to sit and write on my own, I cannot. I have tried many times. It comes to me most times when I least expect it. e.g.: During a church service, while driving down the road, or watching the news on tv. I know these words are messages To God’s people. The spirit of God is moving and speaking to His people all over the world." But only a few are listening” Be attentive to the voice of the Lord, for the time is short in which we have to work. The fields are white to harvest. Go quickly. Reap the lost souls. Go quickly…He comes!

Terri has many projects she supports helping people in her local community and around the globe. She asked us to share a story in order to help poor afflicted people living in a Russian institution gain access to the comfort of modern restroom facilities. They ran short of funds building this project and need $2,000 to complete this mission.

Jessica Rose is a sweet little five year-old girl afflicted with a childhood disease known as Neuroblastoma since December of last year. Her mother is single and working hard to take care of her sick little girl and three boys. This heart wrenching story is one of hope, love and  courage.

The local community and caring people all over the country have become involved supporting the cause in many ways. We've come to learn during this journey that Jessica is not alone in this battle. There are many more children suffering and parents doing all they can to fight for their children's lives. When you have a free moment stop by Jessica's site and sign her Guest Book. Send her and her family a message of hope and care. She can be visited by clicking on her image.

Thank you,
